Network Magic tasks are easy ways to improve your network, perform routine maintenance, or use a Network Magic feature.
You can give an easy-to-understand identity that Network Magic uses with each device in your network. Give the device a friendly name and identify the device type (for example, a game console, a photo printer, and so on).

When you click the link for this task, Network Magic opens a list of basic contact information for popular manufacturers.
You can control whether you want Network Magic to display a notification whenever a tracked device connects with your network.
When you use Network Magic to track a device, this task appears. When you use the task, Network Magic alerts you if the device reconnects later. For more information, see About new network devices. When you click the link for this task, Network Magic opens an options dialog, where you can specify whether you want to be notified.
